I first got the Raleigh Activator when the Raleigh Activator II was coming out, so I got it relatively cheap and it came with
Rapid Fire gear shifters (still my favourite type of shifter, never liked the gripshift type) and bull bars. The front shocks aren't
great but do work and are useful if you like to "bump up" onto pavements or similar. I have found the riding position to be
excellent and I am still adjusting to the riding position of a modern bike. It has 21 gears and is well built.
